How long is the reception staffed?

The reception is staffed from 6 am to 10 pm. After 10 p.m. you can reach us in an emergency by telephone on 040-531 69 400.


How can I arrive after 10 pm?

Either by contactless check-in or with a code for our key box "keyBoy". You can get the code by phone around the clock.


How do I reach the reception after 10 pm? 

You can reach us after 10 pm on 040-531 69 400 in case of emergency. Otherwise, the reception is staffed again from 6 a.m. and our staff will be very happy to help you.


When does breakfast take place? What does breakfast cost?

We offer breakfast from 6:30 am to 10 am. You may reserve a table the day before until 10 pm. We charge 10 EUR for adults, 5 EUR for children from 3 to 12 years, children under 3 years have breakfast with us for free.


Can I pay after departure?

No, please pay on arrival. Unfortunately we have advance payment.


How can I leave my luggage with you?

We offer you the possibility to deposit your luggage in our reception building. You can collect your luggage until 10 pm.

Can I leave before 6 o'clock? What do I need for this? 

Yes, you can put your room card(s) in the white letterbox at the exit in the big building.


When can I check in?

It is possible to check in with us from 1 pm.


Can I check in earlier? 

We will do our best to check you in earlier, but unfortunately we cannot guarantee this. In any case, you can always leave your luggage with us in the luggage room and check in later.


Until when do I have to check out on the day of departure? 

Check-out must take place by 11.00 a.m. on the day of departure. If you check out after 11am, we reserve the right to charge you for an additional night.


Can I check out later? 

In certain cases yes, for example if your room has not been reserved. For more information, please contact reception before 11am on the day of departure.

Can I park my car with you and fly on holiday?

A free parking space is available for the duration of your stay. Unfortunately, we cannot offer you any further parking facilities after your departure. However, this is possible at our partner hotel, the Airport Hostel (040 52985000). You can find more information here.


Should a place in the hotel be reserved in advance? 

No. It is only necessary if you have a large bus or a car with a trailer.


Can I park a bus at your place? 

Yes, it is possible. However, you need to reserve a parking space. In this case, please reserve a parking space by calling 040-531 69 400 or by sending an e-mail to office(at)meinhotelinhamburg.de.

How do I get to the airport?

There are three options: by taxi (2 minutes), by bus (7 minutes) and on foot (13 minutes.) The bus leaves from 5am, you can see the route and departure times here. We can order the taxi for you until 10 pm, which costs about 10 EUR. You can find our map with the route to the airport here.


Is there a shuttle at the hotel? 

Unfortunately no. You can see all connection possibilities above.


How far is Hamburg Airport? Can I reach it on foot?

900m, yes, you can.

How can I book a room with you?

How can I book a smoking room?

When booking, please add a note that you would like a smoking room. You can also book a smoking room by phone (040-531 69 400) and by e-mail (office@meinhotelinhamburg.de). If this is available, you will get a smoking room.


How can I book an apartment? 

On our website, by phone (040-531 69 400), by e-mail (office@meinhotelinhamburg.de). Please note that you can only book an apartment for 2 nights or more. We ask for your understanding.


How can I book a quiet room? 

When booking, please add a note that you would like a quiet room. You can also book a quiet room by phone (040-531 69 400) and by e-mail (office@meinhotelinhamburg.de). If it is available, you will get a quiet room.


I would like to book more than 10 rooms. Do I get a discount?

For this, please make a request by e-mail office@meinhotelinhamburg.de.


Can I book a room only for a few hours?  

Our rooms can only be booked for at least one night, but you can of course leave earlier.

Why can't I pay at Code2or? 

We may have a technical problem at the moment. You can still fill out the registration form. If you arrive during our opening hours, you may pay on site. If you want to arrive after 10 pm, you can get a code for our key box by phone (040 - 531 69 400). Please note that if we do not have a valid credit card, we may cancel your room after 6pm.


Can I book without a credit card? 

Yes, you can book by e-mail (office@meinhotelinhamburg.de) or by phone (040-531 69 400) without a credit card. Please note that this is not a guaranteed booking. We may cancel your booking after 6pm if you do not arrive by 6pm.


Why do I need a credit card for my booking?

If you plan to arrive after 6pm, you will need a credit card for a guaranteed reservation.


Why was the amount charged before arrival? 

We checked your credit card for validity and blocked the amount but did not collect it. The blocked amount will be released in 5 working days.


Which credit cards are accepted?  

EC-Karte, Mastercard, Visa, American Express.


Does the hotel accept cost transfers? 

Yes, but a cost transfer must include the following information: the company registration number, the name of the company. Please send us a cost transfer to office@meinhotelinhamburg.de in good time before your arrival.


Do business travellers have to pay CityTax? 

Yes, since 1.01.2023 business travellers have to pay CityTax.

Should I pay extra for my child?

Children under 3 years of age are allowed to sleep with 2 persons in the room. Children older than 3 years are only allowed to sleep with one person in the room.


What does breakfast cost for my child? 

For children under 3 years, breakfast is free of charge. We charge 5 EUR for breakfast for children from 3 to 12 years. From 12 years on, breakfast is charged at EUR 10 as for adults.


Can we have an extra bed? 

Unfortunately we do not have extra beds, but we can offer you a double bed and a larger room (subject to availability) at the same price. You can add in your comments or mention by phone/email that you have a small child and would like a larger room, if this is available we will be very happy to book this for you.


Is there a high chair in the breakfast room?

Yes, you can ask for it at the reception.

Are animals welcome? 

Out of consideration for all our guests, pets are not allowed with us. However, it is possible to bring your pet to our partner hotel, the Airport Hostel.


I only have a small dog. Is he still not allowed? I can pay for the cleaning. . 

Unfortunately, all pets are not allowed with us.

How can I cancel or change my booking? 

If you have booked on a booking portal, you may only cancel or change your booking via this portal. Unfortunately, we cannot cancel or change your booking.

If you have booked with us (on our website, by telephone or by email), you may cancel or amend your booking in any way that is convenient for you (on our website, by telephone or by email).


For how long can I cancel my room free of charge? 

If you have booked via a booking portal, please note the cancellation conditions.

If you have booked with us (on our website, by phone or by e-mail), you may cancel your booking free of charge until 6 pm on the day of arrival.


Can I buy vouchers from you?
